Connecting gravitational-wave frequency bands

Pulsar timing arrays and LISA probe different parts of the gravitational-wave spectrum, but they address closely related questions about how massive black holes form, grow, and merge. I am particularly interested in how the methods developed for targeted PTA searches—including electromagnetic source selection, multimessenger parameter constraints, and careful source modelling—can inform complementary work within the LISA community.

Looking for shared opportunities

I follow developments in the LISA mission closely and look for opportunities where the two communities can work together. Potential connections include consistent modelling of massive-black-hole populations, coordinated use of electromagnetic observations, transferable statistical methods, and joint efforts to understand how sources evolve across the gravitational-wave spectrum. My aim is to help develop these links as PTA and LISA science continue to mature.
